Ben Kingoff began this family tradition almost a century ago as a Russian immigrant who came to the United States with his family. Since childhood he had an eye for fine jewels, and when he was old enough, he opened up his first shop in North Carolina after serving in the United States Army. Little did he know the family business would still be alive and well over a century later! William Kingoff took the helm of this ship after Ben and worked full time in the store for 60 years. His guidance and leadership has allowed Kingoff's Jewelers to become one of the most trusted names in the business, providing quality diamond engagement rings and other bridal jewelry, no matter what your budget is.

William was very active in the Wilmington community and served as the president of the Downtown Wilmington Association and the Wilmington Merchants Association. He felt it necessary to give back to the community that allowed him to enjoy a successful business for many years. There is even an award given out in his honor every year for annual achievement. Michael Kingoff represents the third generation of owners and is a 1985 graduate of the University of Georgia. With all three generations molding this company as the years go by, it is no wonder they have such a solid reputation for providing the finest loose diamonds and fine jewels in the area.
