Since 1935, Amidon Jewelers has been faithfully serving the community of New Hampshire. Ward Amidon initially began the business in West Lebanon, New Hampshire, and it was owned and operated by its founder until 1972 when he transferred ownership to Leo and Marilyn Babineau. After building the company and enjoying plenty of success, Ward wanted to retire and enjoy his last few years surrounded by friends and family. Leo and Marilyn enjoyed a few years of success until the company was then sold to Katie Goode in 1993. She operated and owned the jewelry store until 2001 when she brought in Steve Doubleday to be a co-owner. Throughout the company's history, they have owned stores in Vermont and Massachusetts, but currently have two locations in West Lebanon, New Hampshire. The current owners Katie and Steve enjoy giving back to the community by participating in several charities in their area, including The Upper Valley Humane Society, and they give back to local schools. Not only can you be sure to find excellent wedding bands and fine watches here, but you can also feel good about your purchase in that some of it will be donated for a great cause.
